It has been a day since I’ve come back from that blur of a holiday in the UK. I did spent the majority of that time in bed, progressively making my way through any illness symptoms known to exist and gradually losing the will to get up in the mornings. I wasn’t up and about until the weekend before I had to fly out, and yes of course that figures, doesn’t it?
So things accomplished on said trip? Make that a negative-something number. I didn’t make any bead purchases, I didn’t even buy any books for pleasure. In fact, my plan to read the bookcrossing book and randomly drop it off somewhere failed miserably since I hardly managed to start it at all. I did manage to squeeze in some time to see the tiny town of Farnham: old and picturesque, but really really small. Some of these photos capture the misty magic I’m talking about.

One of the really good things that has come out of Farnham is that I managed to get my logo, banner and business cards designed. Now I am actually one step closer to opening my Etsy shop — something that should probably happen within this week. This is exciting! Watch this space for updates on that.
I leave you now with the ugly side of Farnham. Some violent kidnapping went down while I was there. Things got pretty ugly, unfortunately.
